Behind the Product
Big Chutes. Bigger Drops. Steep Faces.
Big mountains beckon, and the Burton Family Tree Straight Chuter Splitboard sets the standard for hard-charging control in remote terrain. Inspired by the hard-charging style of Burton rider Danny Davis, the Straight Chuter is built for speed with the stability, and aggressiveness to ride the lines others won’t.
Product Features
Directional Camber Bend
A blend of camber under both feet and a rockered nose maintains stability through variable conditions and plenty of float in soft snow.
Twin Stance Meets Directional Float
The board’s Freeride Directional Shape centers your stance for a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the soft snow float and feel of a directional deck.
Extra Taper
A full 18mm of taper keeps the turns coming with ease in all conditions.
Freeride Focus
Family Tree boards are designed to feed the freeride mindset, and the Straight Chuter Split is the board of choice when you need hard-charging control for remote big mountain lines.
